This past month has been a blur as we have been settling back into our home after being away for our required seminary courses this summer. We are busy prepaing for our new arrival, as well as the new school year that is just around the corner. Normally we would take the opportunity to travel to Southern California at this time of year and visit around for a few weeks to share about our ministry. But, as of this week, our pregnancy is at term and we are unfortunately to far along to travel so far from home.
In the mean time, Ken is taking the opportunity to focus on some administrative ministry tasks that usually get left on a back burner. The last few weeks, in between preparing talks for the coming year, he has been finishing programing an online student database to track our movement. He started programing it about 6 years ago when we were still leading the movement as volunteers at Long Beach State. It took on a very different form then. With this program, we are now able to track multiple movements on multiple campuses, as well as give access to the students and staff of all of these movements over the internet. We hope that we will better keep track of our movements and students with this tool now that it is mostly complete. If you would like to take a look at it let us know and Ken will, I'm sure, be proud show it to you.
Keep us in your prayers this month as we are on the count down to a new school year, all while expecting our second little bundle of joy. We are hoping for an early arrival so we will have time to enjoy her a few days without the demanding schedule of the pre-school and movement launch events looming over our heads.
