San Salvador Summer Project Promo

    Ministry Update

    July 6, 2007

    Dear Friends,

Ken and I wanted to send an update about our summer mission project to San Salvador, El Salvador and let you know that we have a great and glorious God!

God has really amazed us these past two weeks!  We were so blessed to watch as he answered all of our prayers and raised the 15,000 our 11 students were short 4 days before we left for San Salvador on June 21st!  Praise God!!!  All the Glory truly belongs to Him for this amazing answer to prayer.

Our students were so humbled by the awesome provision that they saw come in and have made many comments to us about how their faith in God has grown and how as one student Karen stated “He is so much bigger and more real to me now!”

Many things occurred in the lives of our students just before we left to come to El Salvador from deaths in the family, to passport problems, and major deficiencies in support that really brought them to their knees and made our project theme verse (1 Pet 4:11 “Let him who serves serve in the strength that God supplies that in everything God may get the glory.”) more than a coincidence.

Since we have arrived our team has seen eight Salvadoran students from two universities and a school security guard come to Christ!! Praise God and pray for them!

Thought you’d be blessed and encouraged to hear of all our God is doing in this part of the world.  We’ll be in touch again soon to tell you more.

    Blessings, Ken and Amy
