Dear Friends,
Hope you are doing well and enjoying your spring. Davis is really nice right now. We are gearing up for the spring quarter to start on Monday here at UC Davis.
We are going to be having another campus wide outreach the second week of the quarter on April 9th. This year we have brought an illusionist with a message. He has no cheesy tuxedos and no rabbits to pull out of hats. Our guest Brock Gill leads a new generation of edgy, daring illusionists, amazing audiences with his unique stage show, dry wit, and mind-blowing escapes. While working at a saw mill in 1997, Brock felt that God wanted him to use illusions, escapes, and stunts to bring a message of hope to people. We are hoping by hosting this event on our campus to draw a diverse audience that would not normally attend anything religious in nature. This is a new approach for us in trying to reach our campus with the Gospel.
We really believe in the power of prayer. Would you join us in praying for this event?

…that we would fill the 350 seat lecture hall we have rented.
…that the message of Christ would be communicated in a clear and relevant way.
…that God would use this event to fulfill His purposes.
…that our students would be filled with the Spirit and encouraged to reach out to their friends and campus through this event.
