One of the great parts of being on staff with Campus Crusade is that you are never alone. You often work in teams and this is the case with the ministry here at UC Davis. Our team has really transitioned since we came to Davis in 2005. We will miss working with those that we first labored with here at Davis but God is gracious to provide new laborers to minister beside us that we enjoying working with.

Our team has had a huge transition as the Crusade Movement has new Team Leaders, Dave Goffeney and Jen Ip, Ken is now a Team Leader for the Destino Movement, and the Epic Movement team is large enough that it connects seperately from this team.

It's a bit confusing this year because a second Dave and Jen now lead this team. Jen, transfered to UC Davis last year after spending almost two years ministering at UC Irvine. She has a tremendous heart for college students and can candidly share truth like no one I've ever met. Dave & Kyra Goffeney transitioned here from just around the corner at Chico State. They joined staff in 2001 after graduating from the movement at U of A. They have 1 year old triplets and a huge heart to reach students for Christ. We are glad to labor along side them on our team.

Also new to our team this year, Nalani! Nalani is a UCD graduate, and wife of Eric who transitioned to Davis the same time we did while his wife finished school. Amy had the wonderful priviledge of discipling Nalani for two years before she joined staff herself. We are blessed to have Nalani and Pav on our team once again.

Amy and I truly feel privileged to be a part of this staff team. They bring a diverse set of talents and personalities that make working with them a joy. God has truly blessed us.

Our 2007-08 Staff Team

As the 2007-08 school year drew to a close we had many transitions to our staff team... probabily the most we've seen since joining staff.

Dave and Jenn, our campus Directors from 2005-08, decided to move on from UC Davis after over 10 years. Ken and I will continue to work closely with Dave as he will be transitioning to the Regional Role of Ethnic Student Ministries Director which oversees Destino.

Steph, who led Epic on our staff team moved to Irvine to work with an Epic Movemnent there where she could learn from a team of peers also working in Epic.

As the 2006-07 school year drew to a close we had to say goodbye to some of our teamates once again.

Rita who was our Associate Campus Director for the first 2 years we've been here at Davis has been sent to relaunch a movement on her Alma Matter in Arizona. We will miss her dearly. When she was on STINT, sharing the Gospel to many people in a nation in the middle east. She developed a tremendous heart for college students both here and abroad. She really inspired many here at Davis to follow God's call abroad.

Shon and Christina, although still in Davis, will be working full-time with Bridges, our international student ministry. Although not directly on our team anymore, we will have they opportunity to work with them on campus from time to time. They are from the Fresno area and they have three children: Joshua, Olivia, and Joel. We truly appreciate them, there is goodness in their hearts that you can really sense in them. We will miss seeing them more often.

Steph is now married to Tony. They were placed at USC when they married. They are some of the nicest and most easygoing people we know. We will miss Steph on our team.

Eric will not be on our team 07-08 for a very good reason. His wife Nalani, who Amy discipled for 2 years, graduated from UCD in 2007 and joined staff. They are currently raising a support team for Nalani. We can not wait to have them back on campus with us, their absence is greatly felt.

Tim & Beth our interns will also not be rejoining us. After graduating from UC Davis in 2006 they felt the call to spend their first year after graduating reaching people for Christ. Many heard the gospel through their personal ministries on our campus, but I think it was their genuine steps of faith that really impacted those they ministered to and labored with. Many, many blessings Tim & Beth on your future endeavors.

Mike who interned for our team from 2004-2006 joined full-time staff in the summer of 2007. Mike will rejoin our team when he raises his support! He has a heart for Asian students and has been involved with EPIC, Campus Crusade’s ministry to Asian students, at Davis since he was a student. We can not wait to have him rejoin our team.

Leslie was a student at Davis. When she graduated in 2004, she went on STINT to Scottland for a year and when she came back she interned with us at Davis. In the summer of 2007 she joined staff full-time and when she completes her support team she will minister at UC Berkley. You can tell when you talk to Leslie that she sincerely cares for people. She is missed here at Davis but will be a blessing to Berkley.
